About Me

Monica is a vibrant marketer and graphic designer with over fifteen years of experience.  In her communication roles, she has led may different boards and been active in local leadership positions. Monica enjoys people and helping them find the best way to brand their company and execute their business development plans.

In the Spring of 2019, Monica joined the team at LE Gregg Associates, a geotechnical, environmental & materials engineering firm.  She now serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications.

Having served as a client & in-house graphic designer & marketer for Lynn Imaging for over 10 years, she is adept with a wide range of print & digital marketing. Monica has worked for non-profits and local, family owned businesses throughout her career. She has always found that her career and personal life should make a difference in the community.

In 2018, Monica graduated from Leadership Lexington Class and is an active alumnus member.  Monica has held various leadership roles on the boards of the American Advertising Federation of Lexington, Bluegrass Crime Stoppers, Right to Life of Central Kentucky and was a Commerce Lexington Ambassador for several years.

Monica King earned her BS in Public Relations in 2004 from Ball State University. After graduating, she moved to Louisville where she worked for non-profit.

In 2015, Monica and her husband, Steve, adopted a baby boy. Now, they are adopting 2-year-old twins. When they are not chasing three toddlers, Monica and Steve enjoy going to local events and new, local restaurants.
