Holly serves as Director of Administration for the African-American Trust for Historic Preservation and is a candidate in the Harvard Graduate School of Education's Education Leadership (Higher Ed) Ed.M. program.  She also is Founder of Segue LLC, www.segue.biz, providing professional profile services, including resume/CV writing, LinkedIn design and more.  Previously, she served as Kentucky State University Director of Auxiliary Services, and in 2018, she was honored as one of the Top 25 Women in Higher Education by Diverse:  Issues in Higher Education.

At the University of Kentucky, as Director of Sales & Marketing for the Clubs, she worked with corporations, alumni, and employees, enhancing the profile of the clubs and heading student intern development.

Prior to that, Holly promoted shared governance, managing the day-to-day operations of the official representative body for staff at UK, including handling all finances, community outreach, serving as a charter member on the C.R.I.S.I.S. Committee to assist staff in dire need, and working on the Univ. Strategic Planning Community Engagement Subcommittee.  In the Staff Senate under the Office of the President, she worked with all constituencies across campus to facilitate communication and collaboration, served with staff governing leaders across the state, and headed special programs.

Her first role at UK included assisting the Editor of Educational Administration Quarterly and managing grant/contract accounts for Educational Leadership Studies.

A fourth-generation collegian, Holly is an alumna of Spelman College in Atlanta, where she majored in English and sang in the Glee Club.  She later joined the U.S. Army as a Legal Specialist at Ft. Bliss, Texas, and then earned a B.S. degree in Business Management & Ethics with high honors from Asbury University.  She also has extensive experience in retail and direct sales and customer relations with giants Westin and Macy’s of Atlanta, and Dillard's.  Non-profits served are Junior Achievement of SW Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh and The Y in Owensboro, Kentucky.

A graduate of the College Business Management Institute, Holly chaired major university event programs at UK, including the Outstanding Staff Awards and employee fundraising for DanceBlue that benefits pediatric oncology patients and research.  She also served as Vice Chair for UK Appreciation Day.

Holly is most proud of her work that led to or influenced policy and programming to benefit all stakeholders.  She is actively involved in church, charity, and family projects.
