About Me

I am a visionary leader and growth-focused Executive Director at an ecumenical, faith-based 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, educating communities across the Commonwealth of Kentucky to support returning citizens in re-entering society successfully. My background lies in capacity building, governance, and human rights advocacy of oppressed and marginalized BIPOC communities and impoverished people to support their holistic social transformation.

While serving as a Vice-Chair of the Kentucky Human Rights Commission, I responded to issues impacting the lives of BIPOC and impoverished people by adjudicating cases of discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodations. With solid community organizing work background and excellent communication skills, I successfully addressed issues of empire and racial justice in Kentucky and nationwide through support for equity and criminal justice reform.

Notable highlights of my experience include:

⇨Transforming Kentucky communities impacted by mass incarceration by working with ACLU of Kentucky, Kentucky Smart on Crime, the Kentucky Council of Churches, Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, NAACP of Lexington, and other community organizations focused on human rights.
⇨Bestowed volunteer appreciation award and honored by Mayor Jim Gray for remarkable contributions to Lexington community in areas of interfaith, fairness, justice, and inclusion on April 23rd, 2018, as declaration of Reverend D. Anthony Everett Day in Lexington.
⇨Led fundraising campaigns and managed million-dollar budgets through cash flow management strategies.
