About Me

Emily joined the Brotherton Brown Group in 2015 as a Client Service Associate after relocating to Lexington from Cincinnati, where she worked for two years as a Client Relationship Manager at an independent financial firm. Originally from Akron, Ohio she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with a double major in marketing and finance from the University of Dayton in 2013. She received her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in the spring of 2017 and transitioned into the role of Financial Advisor in the summer of 2018. Now as the Brown Biggins Group, Emily’s main emphasis is helping clients identify and assess specific financial goals. Together, she and Christy build investment and insurance recommendations to assist clients in reaching financial independence.

When Emily is not assisting clients, she enjoys skiing, hiking, running and cheering on her favorite sports teams with her husband Eric. Emily also enjoys giving back to the Lexington area. She is the Treasurer for Girls on the Run Central Kentucky, a member of the Junior League of Lexington and on the board of their Charity Horse Show. Additionally, Emily is excited to be accepted and partake in the 2021-2022 Leadership Lexington Class through Commerce Lexington
